My Movie 1.movDay 1: We got our boxes ready to start and get our design going. We needed to get paint so we went to the art room and got yellow black and white paint.
Day 2: We started painting, we ran into a problem because the paint would not cover up the box. So we covered it with paper and started painting over it.
Day 3: We stared making legs that we can glue on to our Sponge Bob and got his eyes painted.
Day 4: We got the arms,legs and eyes glued to the shape we wanted it to be at. Once we got them glued together onto my box. We colored his legs.
Day 5: We got SpongeBob in our video and got his arm glued back on.
Using Cardboard, I created a cardboard Sponge Bob because me and my team love the TV show.
During this process, I learned how to use my creativity to make a new project with details.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I broke it down and made them into smaller steps did less while doing more.
A challenge I overcame on this project was how to make the paint stick so that we could cover up the box. I was able to do it by putting paper over the wet paint so it sticks then we painted over the paper so that it's yellow.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way we put the arms and legs on . The reason why I would change it is because the legs and arms kept falling off and we had to keep gluing them on.

My project connects to the Digital Media CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Construction and Engineering Design.
