We use one password for multiple services. This includes:
School Computer login
Google (Gmail, Google Drive, Classroom,Chromebook Login)
Edulink
WiFi Login
There are 3 ways to change your password
Use the 'Change Password' option on a classroom computer
Press Control + Alt + Delete at the same time on your keyboard
Click 'Change Password'
Enter your old password
Enter and confirm your new password and click next
Your password is now changed
Go to https://password.curriculum.haslingdenhigh.com and follow the steps on this webpage
Please note this is only accessible within school, but should work on iPads and Chromebooks as well as PCs.
Visit the technicians in B36
If you cannot remember your password and need it reset, please see the technicians in B36 before or during registration, at break time, or after school.
Whichever method you choose, the password will be changed for Google/Gmail, Edulink, PC Login, and WiFi. It will log you out of these services, and you will need to forget and reconnect to 'Haslingden High WiFi'
Password Guidance
Following cyber security advice from the NCSC and DfE we have increased the password strength requirements for all users.
Passwords must be at least 8 characters long
Passwords cannot contain your username - EG, if you are called Bob Smith, the password '!bobsmith1234' will not work.
Any passwords that have appeared in data breaches will not work. If you want to check a password you can type it in here - https://haveibeenpwned.com/Passwords
If you get an error while trying to change your password, it probably doesn't comply with the above rules.
