If you have any issues charging your iPad, please ensure you are using the correct charger.

These are Apple iPad chargers. These should work properly with iPads. The old model is available in 10W and 12W, and the new USB-C model is available in 18W and 20W.
These are Apple iPhone chargers. They only provide 5W of power so WILL NOT charge an iPad.
The new design of USB-C iPhone and iPad chargers look the same but are very different so please make sure you are using the correct charger.
Your charger should be labelled with the wattage so please check you aren't using an iPhone charger.
A more powerful (higher wattage) charger will work with any older iPad.
Using a charger that doesn't provide enough watts will make the device charge slower, or not charge at all.
