Expectations

In this class, I ask that you respect each other and myself by adhering to some common ground rules.

Connect with your classmates, and our Canvas course materials (modules, discussion posts and assignments) for about 8-12 hours per week.
If you want to talk to me about something that only concerns you, like an absence, an assignment, or your grade, please speak to me via a message in my CANVAS inbox.

Attendance Policy

Keep in mind that everything we do in this course builds upon the previous concepts; therefore it is useful that you stay current with assignments. If you miss an appointment, you will miss information that will affect you in the weeks to come. Hartnell College’s attendance policy states “Absences in excess of two weeks (consecutive or non-consecutive) may result in the student being dropped. It is the responsibility of the student to drop from courses they do not wish to attend.”

Often referred to as "netiquette," here is a gentle reminder of the interaction practices and rules we'll follow in all our interactions in this course.

If you ever feel that someone is not following these rules, please send me an email using the Canvas Inbox and describe your concerns.
