Psychology is the science that deals with human thinking and behavior of people and their need to understand themselves and fellow human beings. It is a study of human and non-human behavior. It is especially important and imperative to understand in today's world because of the complexities of modern life. With a rapidly changing world, people must be able to adapt and adjust to each new situation, ranging from everyday behavior, such as eating and sleeping, to various types of abnormal behavior. Activities and "hands on" learning are encouraged and used in this class to give students an opportunity to see the practical uses of the study of psychology. This course is offered in the fall semester.
