This course will have a law-related education approach to provide practical information and problem-solving opportunities that develop in students the knowledge and skills necessary for understanding how to function in a law-oriented society. Students will engage in active learning experiences such as mock trials, case studies, simulations and small group exercises. Students explore the definition of law, citizen rights and responsibilities under the law, learn methods of dispute resolution, as well as identify and analyze public issues. This course is offered in both the fall and spring semesters.
