Niels Bohr or, Niels Henrik David Bohr was a danish physicist who was was born October 7, 1885 and died on November 18, 1962.

This is the bohr model. It was a proposed atomic structure theory that said the outer orbit of an atom could hold more electrons than the inner orbit.
How did he discover this?
He discovered his atomic model by observing the way a hot and glowing hydrogen gives off light. When an incandescent light bulb is lit up, it gives off different wavelengths of light.
His discoveries allowed for the increasing number of experimental data to make sense.
Fun Facts:
-has won a Nobel prize for physics in 1922
-was born into a favorable family since his father was an eminent physiologist, who ignited Bohr's interest in physics
-his brother was a mathematician and his son was a physicist, just like Bohr
