Michael Faraday was an English scientist, physicist and chemist who discovered several organic compounds and contributed greatly to our current understanding of electromagnetism.
In this video you can see a summary of his contributions throughout history.
What were some of Michael Faraday's greatest contributions?
Faradays greatest contribution had to do with electricity and magnetism. He was the first person to engineer an electric current from a magnetic field. He also created the first electric motor and dynamo, they convert mechanical energy into electrical energy and vise versa for the other device.
These are the electric motor and the dynamo/generator.
What is Faradays Law of induction?
Faradays Law is the basic law of electromagnetism that predicts how a magnetic field interacts with an electrical circuit to produce an EMF (electromotive force) which is known as an electromagnetic induction and is a natural phenomena.
This is the formula for Faradays Law.
Fun facts about Faraday

He invented the early version of the Bunsen burner
He discovered multiple organic compounds and was even able to liquify benzene that was believed to be unable to liquify
