CHaD HERO: What started off chilly end up being a beautiful morning at the CHaD HERO. We had many of our runners & their families sign up for the 5K or Cam's Course (1 mile). It was a wonderful end to our season. Thank you all for your support of our OQS Finding Our Stride program.

Week 6: Final Practice! We had a beautiful afternoon to celebrate our final practice of the Fall Season together. It was incredible to see so many families come out and cheer on the runners for the Bracelets for Laps. We had fun playing "Secret Tagger" with everyone as we concluded our season.
Week 6: Our final week of the fall season! At Wednesday's practice we did a Mime activity with partners and then learned a new tag game- "Secret Tagger". We are excited to play our new game with families on Friday at our final practice.
Week 5: This was a short week of practice. Ms. Amelia planned a Spartan style run where students had to run with a partner and: pass a soccer ball, sprint, climb the rock (or do jump rope), run the hill, do hopscotch, cross the monkey bars (or balance beam), run some more, shuffle, and then pass the soccer ball to the finish. The runners had a great time!
Week 4: This week we had a special visitor at practice, Marisa Donovan from Finding Our Stride. While visiting, Marisa dropped off our Finding Our Stride t-shirts for the season! During snack this week, we ate the rainbow: strawberries, clementines, pineapple, kiwi, and blackberries.

Week 3: This week our character strength focus was teamwork. We worked in teams to complete the hula hoop challenge and Hungry Hungry Hippo.
Week 1: This week we started our fall season of FOS with Bracelets for Laps and cooled off with some water relay games. Collective, the 16 runners ran a total of 88 laps! We will run laps again at the end of the season with the hopes runners are able to run at least 1 more lap than the first practice.
