AP Environmental Science (APES) is an interdisciplinary course which explores the interrelationships between the natural world and the human impacts. In this course, students will study topics related to human populations, species loss, ecosystems, agriculture, bioethics, pollution, nutrient cycling, earth resources, biodiversity, urbanization, waste management, sustainability, and climate change. A “C” or better in both semesters earns the student one unit for the “D” requirement on the UC/CSU A-G list.
