What is Sora?
Sora is an ebook, audiobook and magazine platform offering a wide range of Fiction and Nonfiction titles for all.
Who is it for?
All pupils and staff.
Where is it?
Pupils can access Sora directly on the Sora app that has been pushed to all ipads. Alternatively, you can simply use it on any internet browser.
How does it work?
Sora works just like a lending library: users can borrow up to three books at a time, for 14 days. Each copy can only be borrowed by one pupil at a time (just like physical books). Books automatically get returned after 14 days. They can be renewed once.
Can teachers access Sora?
Teachers do not have individual usernames. Please log in via single sign-on (via your Harrow Google account), the same way Upper school pupils do. Instructions HERE.
I have read most of the books on Sora. Is there any way to get more?
Yes! There are two ways to get more books on Sora:
Request titles directly to the Library team (Ms Besnard, Ms Lam and Mr Nelson) and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Connect Sora to your HK Public Library account for FREE and get access to thousands more ebooks! Instructions on how to do that HERE.
