The Harrow HK Library was first opened in September 2012, and a curriculum was set for both Lower School and Upper School. The collection has grown from 5,000 to over 30,000 titles. The Lower School Library, named Dahl Library, was also launched in August 2019.
The Library aims to support teaching and learning and promote reading, we offer several literary events and support any reading activities, such as inter-school competitions (Battle of the Books, Kids' Lit Quiz), inter-house competition (Name That Book), author visits, World Book Day, English class reading, EPQ sessions for senior pupils...etc.
In September 2020, we are pleased to renovate the Library with this brand new Hub, integrating all the online resources for teachers and pupils, with a whole new interface and collaborative resources provided by Departments. By new visions from the Library and School, we hope this ease the accessibility of teaching and learning resources, which also facilitates and promotes reading habitat in the School.
