School Supplies
Harrison Township School District will provide all the supplies needed for our learners. We are recommending our families purchase one pencil/marker box for your child to send in to school. This would help with containing the individual student writing supplies. If you are unable to purchase a pencil box, one will be provided.
The items listed below on the school supply list are things the students will be using in the classroom this year. Please note the school will supply all of the materials that your child will need throughout the school year. However, if your child would like to back-to-school shop, here are a few items that many children like to have and personalize:
pencil box or pencil case that is large enough to hold all writing materials
1 durable two-pocket folder
sharpened pencils
an extra set of erasers
a small, handheld pencil sharpener
colored pencils and/or skinny markers
box of 24 crayons
scissors
dry erase markers (black and blue are preferred) (need to be refilled throughout the year)
a clean sock, cloth, or whiteboard eraser
Oversized t-shirt or art smock for Art (Mrs. Moran is asking for this.)
a chapter book or novel for independent reading block
a mouse compatible with a school chromebook (suggested, but not required)
Backpack and snack/lunchbag - Please make sure your child does not have a backpack with wheels. We will be storing backpacks in lockers and they typically do not fit in the lockers.
a filled water bottle each day (must be labeled with child's name)
The school will also supply spiral writing notebooks, composition books, crayons, pencils, glue sticks, and scissors, but you are welcome to have your own supply as well.
Other notebooks, binders, and folders will be prepared by us the first week of school and used throughout the year.
In addition, please try to label the supplies you send in with your child's name. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
Classroom Wish List -
box of gallon size, sandwich and snack sized ziploc bags
