My boss is the person who has repeatedly taught me how to be flexible with change and with different personalities. Working for her business has been both inspiring and transformative for my character. Thanks to her guidance and high standards, I've grown in more ways than one both personally and profesionally.
Presented here are the 3 ice cream flavors I wrote my college essay on. Through each of these flavors, I expressed myself. Vanilla was the simplicity of my childhood and how unfamiliar this complex world was to me in elementary school. Cotton candy was entering middle school and slowly starting to realize how divided the world is and figuring out how I want to identify. Lastly, Mud Pie which represents my life in high school which is one of the most complex flavor at Longford's Ice Cream Shop to emphasize my growth.
My co-workers have become more than people I have a night shift with, they have become my best friends. We support each other at work while also celebrating each others lives outside of our job. Ranging from freshmen in high school to adults with children, I have learned to make a connection with each and every single one of them. Our relationship with each other is so special because we all have one thing in common...scooping ice cream!
