Due the AWS Outage, you may experience delays in data refresh, incomplete or outdated reporting, and disruptions to integrations such as DataPass.
Launching with Harri:
Success Factors
Through the course of many feedback sessions with O/Os using Harri, MHQ and Harri have found some common best practices among those who have had the most successful deployments. We encourage you to consider these for your implementation.
Guide Your Teams to Meet Milestones
The most successful deployments have the element of support from the very top down. Operators, admins, directors of operation, area supervisors, and others should all participate in training so they can be aware of what their store users are working on and learning. The TA Lead role is a key role in this process, and we recommend reviewing the job aid below.
User engagement plays a crucial role in achieving deliverables, meeting milestones, and sticking to the timeline for deployment. Teams must be held accountable for their tasks at each stage of the process. It is essential to monitor their progress, check in with them regularly, and ensure that they are meeting the established timeline and deliverables.
Failure to meet milestones, complete training, or deliver on tasks will result in additional work and added pressure on the team. Harri's goal is to simplify the process for you by following the countdown-to-go timeline, which will lead to a smooth and streamlined implementation of the product.
Training, Training, Training
Make sure every manager who will use Harri participates in each training webcast and focuses on it with full attention. Allocate time to complete the eLearning modules. After completing a section of training, actively explore the system for a hands-on experience. The curriculum is designed to align with the deployment timeline and cover essential points for a complete understanding of the system. Your engagement during training will directly impact your comprehension of the product.
Hot tips:
Review recorded Harri webcasts if you or a team member missed something. In your eLearning/Harri Academy you can click "Courses" to find our "Gold Star Training Videos." Here you'll find one of each Harri training session.
Gather together to watch training webcasts and be sure to have a computer for hands-on-keys time.
Out with the Old, In with the New
Embracing change is key to successful adoption, with old practices being replaced by new ones. It is common to hear concerns about seasoned or not tech-savvy employees struggling with using apps. The best approach is to remove these barriers by providing access to back-office computers. Operators have achieved success by replacing paper forms with employee self-service functions in stores, effectively guiding employees through the process.
Leverage Your Team and Their Strengths
Identify strong leaders and encourage them to mentor new users who may have questions. Successful deployment strategies often include regular team meetings involving management from various locations to share insights, offer support, and address any challenges. Collaborating in this way can lead to finding answers to common questions and sharing best practices.
Encourage Teams to Embrace Change
Introducing a new product requires a champion. It also requires thorough explanation and clear communication. As a team, it is important to understand the reasons behind the change and the benefits it will bring. By clearly articulating the advantages and expressing genuine excitement for the new system, we can motivate our team to embrace the change and become champions for it among their peers. When everyone understands the rationale behind the transition, they are more likely to support and promote the new product effectively.
