Virginia Reader's Choice 

Sponsored by the Virginia State Literacy Association, this annual reading program:

• Motivates readers to become better acquainted with contemporary books with outstanding literary appeal

• Broadens students’ awareness of literature as a life-long pleasure

• Encourages reading aloud in classrooms as a means of introducing reading for pleasure

• Honors favorite books and their authors.

The voting window is open March 1 - April 30th, 2026.  A winner will be announced for each level--Primary, Elementary, Middle, and High School. Ballots are available in the library.
