How do I use GoGuardian?
GoGuardian software helps you manage your students' online activity in the classroom. Your classes will sync automatically and update nightly via PowerSchool, but you can make customized groupings as well.

What kind of websites does HCS block on Chromebooks?
HCS blocks some individual websites but more frequently blocks categories of websites that frequently contain inappropriate material for students.
What if I want to use a website for my student and it is blocked?
You can request that a site be blocked or unblocked using this form. Please note: Completing this form does not guarantee that access to the site will be changed.
Lessons and Resources for Grades K-2
In this lesson, students learn what to do when they get unwanted messages, how to keep their information safe online, and the importance of strong passwords. You can use the video along with the quizzes and activities from BrainPOPJr to reinforce these topics with your students.

In this lesson, students will discuss the ways we communicate online and how important it is to keep interactions fun and friendly for all those involved.
Google's Be Internet Awesome contains a series of lessons that teachers can use with PearDeck to make them interactive for students. Lessons include things like privacy, being kind online, and talking to adults when something questionable is found.
Students can use Common Sense Education's Digital Passport Site to play several games that teach them about digital citizenship topics like: password protection, consequences of multitasking, maintaining privacy, and how to safely search the internet.

Students can use Common Sense Education Digital Compass to explore how decisions made in their digital lives can affect their futures by following different characters through their online interactions in a role-playing game.
