HCS blocks some individual websites but more frequently blocks categories of websites that frequently contain inappropriate material for students.
What if a teacher posts a website and it is blocked?
You should contact the teacher ASAP and explain the situation. The teacher will be able to work with HCS to either get the resource unblocked or provide another resource.

Google: Be Internet Awesome (Grades 3-8)
Google's Be Internet Awesome contains a series of lessons that teachers can use with PearDeck to make them interactive for students. Lessons include things like privacy, being kind online, and talking to adults when something questionable is found.
You can use Common Sense Education's Digital Passport Site to play several games that teach you about digital citizenship topics like: password protection, consequences of multitasking, maintaining privacy, and how to safely search the internet.
