Hi my name is Angelina Rosario and I am 18 years old. I’m currently working at Superior Ambulance I started July 2021. I plan to work on BLS core for 6 months then start to pick up 911 shifts to get a feel for how to run ASL calls. Once I get comfortable with ALS calls I’m going to begin paramedic school. I plan on working as a paramedic for a few years until I can work up to flight medic school and work as a flight medic for a number of years. When I get comfortable with flight medic I’m going to go back to school to be a pedantic nurse.
I am currently an EMT at elite I am also currently going to college for microbiology, I am in the process of going into the fire academy, my father is getting me sponsored, I also plan on getting my paramedic license in the next 4 years.

Right now I’m attending Ball State University as an Exercise Science major with a main focus on Pre-Chiropractic. I am a seasonal EMT at Elite Ambulance in Hammond, IN. I am also planning on working towards earning my NSCA-CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) so I can start building my accreditation when I start internships and eventually a job.
Hello, my name is Savannah Thompson I am a former student of the Area Career Centers EMS program. I currently am an active EMT for Superior Air-Ground Ambulance in Indiana. I have been an EMT now for a year and love working on my ambulance. I am on the transportation side of EMS which means that I transfer patients to other hospitals or take patients home after they have been discharged from the hospital. I am also working on my Nursing degree to be an emergency medicine nurse and am in my 3rd semester now. I still work and do special events for my company as well as go to school full time and I couldn’t ask for more.
I completed the course but did not take my NREMT. I am currently working at FedEx and am attending IUN in Gary. I am majoring in Biology and minoring in chemistry, hopefully, to become a surgeon in the future
I currently work for Superior Ambulance as a driver. Due to COVID I delayed my testing but am still planning on completing my NREMT with goals of going to paramedic school. After that my plan is to go through the fire academy and work full time on a local fire department.

My name is Jeremiah Delgado. I graduated class of 2019 from HAST. I took Mr. C’s class from 2018-2019 but I did not complete his class. I slacked and blew it off. However I signed up for the Army National Guard and acquired my EMT certification by becoming a 68W (Combat Medic) in the Army. It is required to be an EMT to be a Combat Medic. After coming back from the Army i decided to go to college and originally I was going for Nursing. Although the classes my first semester were boring and working as an EMT at Elite I realized I did not want to spend the rest of my life being a Nurse. I decided to switch and am currently studying Mechanical Engineering. In addition to this I am currently pursuing the goal to be accepted and go through a fire academy. I enjoy the faster pace of EMS and I want more of that. I am currently still in the National Guard doing my monthly drills, working at Elite, weightlifting very often, and pursuing the fire academy. I am now 20 years old, which is two years after Mr. C’s class. I took his class for granted and could have missed out on a very good opportunity. It’s the easiest way to get a job out of high school that makes good money. I’m lucky that I had the second chance to get my certification through the Army. When I went through the second time I invested in the class and in myself. I took all the free time I could to study, memorize, and practice. I came out in the top 1% of my class and passed my NREMT and Skills test the first time. I nearly perfected all my skills but one point. The reason is because I applied myself. I took the extra time and pushed myself more than I ever had. This is what I didn’t do in high school and I barely passed the class but didn’t even get anything out of it. Do not be like me and risk missing the opportunity you have. Apply yourself, work hard, stay motivated, help each other, and it’ll reward you more than you ever thought. Lastly take pride in what you do, you may be the first on scene to someone’s most crucial moment in their life.
I have been working at Elite for the last 2 years and work at Southlake Methodist as an ER tech. I just got a job in the private security sector as a tactical medic traveling around the world to places like the US, UK, and South Africa. In the next year I’m going to be going to fire academy or paramedic school also
I am Noor and I was in the 18/19 EMT class. After high school I started college to purse a degree in nursing. This year I decided to take a hiatus for a few different reasons but plan on returning to continue my degree.
