To be a part of the A+ Program, students must have a written agreement on file with their school counselor/A+ Coordinator.
Here is the A+ Scholarship Program agreement.
This is for students doing their mentor or tutoring hours outside of the school day. Students must get approval from their A+ Coordinator. Students in Cadet Teaching in their schedules do NOT have to complete a log sheet. You may pick up the form in the HHS Counseling Office.
A+ Attendance Requirement
95% cumulative attendance for all 4 years is required to meet the attendance requirement for A+.
Attendance % is based on hourly attendance and not daily attendance.
Students not meeting the 95% hourly attendance rate over the course of 4 years, will need to appeal at the end of their senior year.

A+ Citizenship Requirement
Students shall not sell, possess or use any controlled substance or drug paraphernalia as defined by law and stated in the Code of Conduct. The use of prescription medicine is allowed under Board Policy and established guidelines. Students and parents are responsible for understanding and following those guidelines.
Students cannot have any juvenile referrals, arrests, or any other unlawful acts with law enforcement.
Students should not commit any school disciplinary infractions that would result in OSS or 3+ Days of ISS.
Safe Schools violations that result in OSS are non-appealable and will result in permanent loss of your A+.
Non Safe Schools violations that result in the following consequences are appealable:
More than 3 days of ISS
1 or more days of OSS
If your appeal is accepted, you will be on probation for the remainder of your high school career. Any future suspensions may result in permanent loss of your A+.
