There are 32 local organizations, families, and businesses offering scholarships that are exclusive to our Hallsville graduates. Many of these organizations offer multiple scholarships. To simplify the application process and allow students to easily apply to multiple scholarships, we have created a "common application" that can be completed, then printed multiple times depending on how many scholarships you choose to apply to.
Advice for applying to these scholarships:
Make your OWN COPY of the Scholarship Document ( if it won't let you make a copy, then you will want to copy and paste it into a Google Doc) so you can edit, delete, type on, etc. This is done on Google Docs.
Fill out page 1. You will print page 1 multiple times, depending on the # of scholarships you apply to. Page 1 is the cover page you will turn in with each scholarship you turn in!
The directions on how to apply is on page 3. Read it :-)
You will need a Financial Need Statement (page 2 of the document) for several of the scholarships. Read the directions and type out your statement. This can be printed for multiple scholarships.
Page one has a "key" in each box - this will tell you what documents are needed for each scholarship. Ex: R= Resume, T= Transcript.
Go through and read the description for each scholarship. If it applies to you, then bold it or highlight it so you remember to apply! Not all of the scholarships will apply to you, but I encourage you to apply to every one that does apply to you!

Each organization will choose their own recipient. Recipients will be announced during Senior Awards in May.
