Message from Mrs. Smith:
It is hard to believe that we are already ONE MONTH into our 2nd Semester! Thank you to all of our parents that attended our Honor's Day on Friday. It was so much fun to celebrate our students and their hard work. Thank you for your continued support with our Safety Procedures. Riverbend is partnering with the North Hall Cluster to raise money to buy new raincoats for our School Resource Officers. We will have a Hat Day on Friday February 3, 2023. If your child would like to participate, they can bring $2.00 on Friday to wear a hat! Thank you for supporting this great cause. You will be getting information about the Heart Challenge this week. We hope that all of our students will participate! This week we will have Early Release Day on February 2, 2023. If you would like to have a parent conference on that day or any other day, please contact your child's teacher. If you are interested in knowing more about Technology and how to help your child at home, please join me for our Coffee and Chat on February 6, 2023 @ 7:30 am in the Media Center.
PTO is working hard to plan Teacher Appreciation Week. They are also working on planning a Family Movie Night in May. If you are interested in helping, please attend our next PTO meeting on February 8th @ 7:30 a.m. in the Media Center.
I look forward to partnering with our parents and community through Partners in Education and PTO in 2023. If you or a local business you know would like more information about how they can help our school, please email keri.smith@hallco.org.
Please remember that our school day begins at 7:50. If your student arrives at 7:50 or after, they are counted tardy and they are missing instructional time.
Car Rider Parents: You MUST have a cling tag number to pick your child up. If you do not have it, you will have to pick your child up in the front of the school. Car riders is over at 2:40 each day. If you are not in line by 2:40, you must come to the front of the school to pick up your child. If you need additional tags, or have lost your tag, please contact the front office. You may purchase for $5.00.
Safety Reminders:
Thank you for having a photo ID available when you enter our school.
Thank you for sending all transportation changes in writing to your child's teacher or via email to RESFrontOffice@hallco.org.
All car rider students will need to enter & exit their vehicle on the passenger side.
School opens at 7:15 a.m. Student may not be dropped off before this time.

Nurse Lindsey's Updates:
★ Medication Reminders:
If your student needs a life saving medication; such as Epinephrine or an Inhaler, please bring the required medication to the nurse's clinic so that we can be fully prepared.
Do not send medication to school with your child. This is for the safety of your student and other students. It also prevents the medication getting lost or stolen. A parent or guardian needs to bring it into the school.
★ Keep your student at home if he/she is feeling ill prior to school. There are many illness'
going around and we are trying to prevent the spread.
Please remember: No school until the student has been 24 hours without vomiting or fever.
(This includes no fever reducing medications within 24 hours of returning to school)
★ Please send a water bottle every day with your student. It is necessary for staying hydrated, reduces
headaches, stomach aches, and helps keep them alert, active, and engaged in the day. *Labeling the
water bottle will help if lost.
