NEWS FROM THE FRONT OFFICE

It's hard to believe it is May and our Warriors only have a few weeks of school left!  Our 3rd-5th Grade students are finishing strong with Milestones testing this week.

We have some exciting events in May, as we wrap up the school year.  Field Days are always a highlight of the year, and then we will be having Awards Ceremonies and End of the Year Classroom Celebrations the following week.  Parents are invited to these events (please remember a state-issued ID will be required for ALL visitors so arrive early enough to get signed in), and we're looking forward to having some fun with our Warriors!  Students will sign Yearbooks on May 13th during class, and we'll honor our Graduating Seniors on May 21st.  We will wish our 5th Graders well as we honor them on the morning of May 24th before they head to middle school. Please see the information below for our End of Year events, and teachers will be sending home more information too.

Enjoy these last few weeks of school with your students!  Thank you for giving us the privilege to serve your children and this community.  It has been amazing to see how much our students have learned and grown together at CMCSI.  We hope you have a wonderful summer, and as always, let us know if you need anything.

summer construction projects at cmcsi

We are excited to share that our front entrance, sign & driveway will be getting a makeover this summer!  The entrance and car rider lanes will be widened over the summer to accommodate our growing enrollment at CMCSI.  Stay tuned for NEW car rider line patterns next school year!

CMCSI will be getting a 15 classroom mobile unit over the summer.  This unit will have power, water, bathrooms, a hallway, locking doors, and a covered sidewalk that links to our main building.  The classroom mobile unit will be located at the rear of the building behind the garden.

We are excited about the changes coming to CMCSI as our community continues to grow!

Medication Pickup and

Immunization Information

All medications need to be picked up by the last day of school (5/24/24).  All medications not picked up will be discarded unless prior arrangements have been made with the Nurse Shaunda.

Over the summer break plan to get all medical care plans (asthma, allergy, seizure & daily meds) updated from your child’s pediatrician so those are ready by the first day of school next year. Make sure all medication prescriptions are current & up to date. Don’t forget to schedule yearly physicals and update all immunizations that are needed. Please provide the schools with updated immunization records at the beginning of the school year.

Please email Nurse Shaunda with questions or to request any forms needed for the upcoming school year.
