NEWS FROM THE FRONT OFFICE

Our Warriors have now been in school OVER 100 Days!  Last week, we enjoyed our new Enrichment Clusters.  Enrichment Clusters are a block of time set aside each month to allow K-5th Grade students to explore, create, and participate in inquiry-based learning at CMCSI.  Enrichment Clusters support our school's magnet and are meaningful hands-on learning experiences for our students. Ask your child about what they are doing in their Enrichment Cluster!

February promises to be busy at CMCSI!  We are looking forward to Valentines Exchanges, 2nd & 3rd and Kindergarten & 1st Grade Showcase Nights, Spirit Night at Dairy Queen in Oakwood, and of course TRIBES and Enrichment Clusters at the end of the month.

Our spring Parent Conference Week is at the end of the month, so don't miss out on this important time to meet with your child's teacher.  Teachers will be sending an invitation to share your child's progress, so be sure to sign up for your conference time.

We hope you have a wonderful week!  Don't forget to follow us on Twitter @CMCSIWarriors to keep up with all of the amazing happenings at CMCSI and see lots of pictures of our students and staff too.  Feel free to contact us if you ever need anything.

Parent Conference Week... coming soon!

CMCSI will be having PARENT CONFERENCES in person, via Zoom or a phone conference from February 26- March 1.  Teachers will set aside a time to discuss your child’s progress in academics, behavior, and school performance this year.  We are excited about this special time to share your child’s strengths and areas for growth.  We will share ways you can help your child at home as well.  Your invitation for Parent Conferences will be coming home soon, and our goal is to meet with 100% of our Warrior families!

Parent feedback is very important to us at CMCSI.  Each year the Georgia Department of Education asks parents to complete this survey to help schools continue to improve.  Please complete the parent survey online at the link below (in English & Spanish) by February 29th.  Thank you for your input!
