Career Awareness Advisement Lessons for 11th grade is "Eagles Prepare". Did you know that Eagles remove the feathers and soft grass in the nest so the young ones get uncomfortable in preparation for flying? For you as a Junior, this means you should begin to PREPARE to leave the nest at CHS. Your advisement lessons this year will focus on what employers expect so you can be prepared to GET HIRED.

Here is a link for Monday's advisement lesson. Students will have an opportunity to sign up for registration and planning meetings later this week. If we have a lot of interest, we will schedule more days next week. Thank you!
There are 2 items for this week's advisement. The first is to watch a short video (link below) and have students show their appreciation for frontline workers.
The second is to distribute the census reports that Mr. Skogman put in your box and have students verify their information with a signature. If they need to make changes, have them do so on the form and take up all forms at the end of advisement.
Thanks!
Thank you, Frontline Workers -
Teachers,
Today in Advisement you will learn more about the Chestatee Work-Based Learning Program and the options you have to register for it for next year as Rising Juniors/Seniors. The first video will give you an overview of the WBL program. The second video will give you information specifically about the Manufacturing Apprenticeship opportunities you have through the Chestatee Work-Based Learning Program. THEN finally you will hear from Ms. Howard, Chestatee’s WBL Coordinator, as she shares specific details about the benefits of the program and how to apply for the upcoming school year.
