PSAT Pre-Administration Tasks:
Students will need a pencil for today's lesson.
1) Handout the following:
-PSAT Student Guide Booklets (students keep these)
-PSAT Student Answer Sheet instructions
-PSAT Answer sheets (these are in your envelope). There are labels on the answer sheets with the student's name on them so please make sure they go out to the right student. If a student is absent, mark that on the enclosed roster in your envelope.
2) Students SHOULD NOT BUBBLE ANYTHING IN until you tell them to.
3) Locate your script (green paper) and read through the pre-administration script with your students. They will need to reference their Student Answer Sheet Instructions for some of the questions they have to answer.
4) Once you've completed all of the pre-administration tasks in the scripts, collect the white Student Answer Sheet Instructions and the PSAT Answer Sheets from all students. Please make sure the PSAT Answer sheets are alphabetized and that you marked any student that was absent on the enclosed roster.
5) Return your Student Answer Sheet Instructions and the envelope that contains your roster and PSAT Answer Sheets to Mary Smith in the counseling office as soon as advisement is over. These are test materials and must be secured immediately.

10tth Grade Advisement Graduation Planning Small Group Sign Ups
There are 2 items for this week's advisement. The first is to watch a short video (link below) and have students show their appreciation for frontline workers.
The second is to distribute the census reports that Mr. Skogman put in your box and have students verify their information with a signature. If they need to make changes, have them do so on the form and take up all forms at the end of advisement.
Thanks!
Thank you, Frontline Workers -
Teachers,
Today in Advisement you will learn more about the Chestatee Work-Based Learning Program and the options you have to register for it for next year as Rising Juniors/Seniors. The first video will give you an overview of the WBL program. The second video will give you information specifically about the Manufacturing Apprenticeship opportunities you have through the Chestatee Work-Based Learning Program. THEN finally you will hear from Ms. Howard, Chestatee’s WBL Coordinator, as she shares specific details about the benefits of the program and how to apply for the upcoming school year.

Supplies Needed:
Computer & projector with this website displayed
Agenda:
Please check your boxes by Tuesday morning for the Field Trip permission forms. These need to go home this advisement. Students can return forms to you or any CHS teacher – all paths will lead to Mr. Cornett. The lesson this week has a video, Happiness is Helping Others, that goes along with 10th Grade’s “Commit to the C” theme. (Link to slides: HERE) Feel free to show or lead your own community service discussion. Based on last year’s feedback, the students had a GREAT experience. I remember a lot of teachers came back surprised at how helpful some of their “toughest” students were, and it changed their perspectives.
Remember: “Commit to the C” is what *we* make it – it starts with *us*!!
