How do i determine my skill level for a clinic or ride?
Level 1 — New to Trails
New to mountain biking; comfortable riding on pavement/gravel.
Level 2 — Beginner
A few singletrack rides; gaining balance + basic shifting/braking.
Level 3 — Strong Beginner
Comfortable on green trails; can stand on pedals and roll small features.
Level 4 — Intermediate
Rides regularly; handles roots/rocks, moderate climbs/descents.
Level 5 — Solid Intermediate
Confident on blue trails; working on speed, flow, and bigger features.
Level 6 — Advanced
Comfortable on black trails; manages tech terrain, small drops/jumps.
Level 7 — Expert
Rides black/double-black confidently; agile on advanced features and tech.

What do I need to bring if I want to demo bikes?
You should bring your ID and a credit card for the demo tent to hold as collateral.
Are E-bikes allowed?
You bet! Class 1 and 2 E-bikes are allowed on all of Hale's trails.
Is there onsite camping for Everwild?
Yes! We have a limited number of sweet onsite camping options including car camping, van camping and yurt camping.
Are there showers for those who are camping?
There are not. Sorry.
Is there water access?
Yes! We will have drinking water available at the event site during event hours and at clinic sites.
Will there be food on site?
Yes, we will have food vendors for lunch and dinner.
Will there be beer?
There will be a beer garden, and we'll also offer non-alcoholic beverages. In line with town liquor regulations, we ask you to please refrain from drinking in the camping zones while our beer tent is open. Outside alcohol is not permitted.
What are the quiet hours?
Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 8 AM.
If I’m not biking can I just come hang out?
You need to have a ticket to attend. If you don’t want to bike, you can also volunteer for a shift or two and gain access that way. Otherwise, every attendee must have a ticket to enter our event.
Can youth under 12 attend?
Yes, they can attend our youth clinics and join rides appropriate for their skill level. They must be supervised when not in a clinic or on a ride.
What is your return policy?
Public events that appear on Hale’s Events Calendar are eligible for refunds up to 30 days before the event and are non-refundable after that time. Ticketing platform fees (including Eventbrite, BikeReg, and others) are nonrefundable. For events with multiple instances, transfers may be possible at least 1 business day before the event. Public event registration fees may not be credited toward Hale’s programs.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are not allowed at Everwild.
Where do the proceeds of Everwild go?
Everwild proceeds go to Hale Education and support programs that connect youth with the great outdoors.
