In the Haddonfield School District, we are fortunate to have a robust band program that begins in fourth grade. On this journey, students acquire valuable life skills, form lasting friendships, and create musical memories that will last a lifetime. 

In elementary band, students can choose to play one of the following instruments: flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, glockenspiel, or snare drum. To obtain an instrument, we recommend renting from one of our rental companies, Coles Music or Music and Arts.

During the school year, students in band participate in a 30-minute lesson once every six-day cycle. Rehearsals take place before school at 7:45 on a specific day of the six-day cycle.  I send ParentSquare reminders the evening before your child has a morning rehearsal and/or an in-school lesson.
