Stay on Schedule:
Give what your doing your undivided attention
Create realistic deadlines
Build in breaks throughout the day
Train your brain to avoid distractions
Make a daily schedule and check it periodically to ensure your on schedule
Schedule your most difficult tasks when you are most alert
Schedule work and play in separate areas if possible
Get enough sleep:
Go to sleep at the same time each night and set alarm for same time each morning
Avoid naps after 3pm
Stay away from caffeine late in the day
Avoid nicotine completely
Get exercise but not 2-3 hours before bedtime
Stay Hydrated and Healthy:
Don't wait until you are thirsty to drink water
Eat as many fruits and vegetables as possible
Carry a reusable water bottle to make it easier to measure water intake
Keeps fruits and veggies cut up and available so they are easier to grab instead of chips or cookies
Boost your Physical Health while having fun:
Try some Yoga
Go for a walk around your house, block, yard
Sit in the sun and listen to your favorite music
Play with your pet
