Course Description:

Motion Graphics is an advanced computer graphics course that focuses on animation, images, sound, text, and special effects. This class is built upon the industry standard software, Adobe After FX CC. The program's 2D and 3D compositing, animation and visual effects tools allow users to create innovative graphics and visual effects for film, video, broadcast, DVD and the web. Using After Effects CC, students will learn the concepts of video, time-based animation and special effects. We will explore program features that include keyframing, editing, masking, type, 3D environment and tools. Importing media from a wide variety of applications, including Adobe Photoshop CC and QuickTime files will also be covered.
