Starting Fall 2025, the Academic Participation Data Collection Process replaces the previously used Confirmation of Attendance and Early Roster Check processes for collecting the participation data. In compliance with Title IV requirements, colleges and universities must establish and maintain an effective attendance tracking system/process to ensure that financial aid is disbursed only to students who are actively participating in their education. The Academic Participation Data Collection Process is such a process established by HACC to meet Title IV requirements.

Only one academic participation data collection period will occur per part of term. Please view the current semester Important Dates document found with frequently used forms in myHACC for the collection window.
