Accessing Google Drive
All HACC faculty are provided with a Google drive. In this drive, you can search, upload, and access your work across all of your devices, at work and at home. It eliminates the need to carry a flash drive. Your Google drive can be accessed through MyHACC portal using your HACC user ID and password. The Google link is located on the Home tab and under Quick Links. Click Google Apps for Education, and click on Drive for Employees. You may wish to peruse all of the links in your Google Apps tab to learn how to use the drive.
**Please note: If you choose to use Google drive, our IT cannot always provide support when issues occur. You may need to contact Google directly if a problem should arise.
The College uses Google forms for collecting information. When attempting to access a Google form, you must log in using your HACC credentials. If you encounter a permissions or access error, you likely have a personal Google account currently open on your device. You must first log out of your personal account and re-click the link to complete the form, which should then prompt you for your HACC credentials. The form will open when your HACC credentials have been entered. Sometimes the permissions or access issue is caused by using a browser other than Google Chrome to open MyHACC. If you are not gaining access, close your browser and enter MyHACC and the form using Google Chrome.
