Congratulation, Lisa!
HACC Tutoring would like to congratulate Lisa Eason for being named Outstanding Tutor of the Year. She is currently enrolled in the nursing program at the Lancaster Campus. Lisa took advantage of the services and programs HACC Tutoring offers, and as she progressed in the nursing program, wanted to support her peers in the same way. Becoming a peer tutor has allowed her to support her fellow nursing students who are now attending the very same classes she completed not so long ago. Lisa works with students from all five campuses via remote appointments and goes above and beyond to help as many students as possible. Additionally, she created a personalized electronic planner that she happily shared to allow every student to use.
York 'Spring 2023' Transfer Fair
Over two dozen colleges and universities were represented at the “Spring 2023” Transfer Fair that was recently held at the Gettysburg, Harrisburg and York campuses. Transfer partners from local and regional colleges and universities were present to provide information and answer questions from interested students.
Students who attended also had an opportunity to enter a drawing, and the winner of a new iPad emerged from the Harrisburg Campus.

We are #haccproud to have them represent HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. A celebration of Pennsylvania community college students took place March 27, 2023, at the Harrisburg Hilton Hotel.
