APPROVED COURSE SCHEDULE HOLD

An Approved Course Schedule Hold (EA Hold) is placed on the account of a student who is using financial aid so they cannot change their classes without using the Drop/Add/Withdraw (DAW) form. Financial aid will be disbursed with this hold in place.

Action: No action is needed. If you want to change your schedule please complete a DAW Form.

EDUCATION PLAN HOLD

All students are required to have an education plan (ed plan). Students using financial aid will have an ed plan hold placed on their account and may want to review the ed plan with an advisor. Financial aid will not be disbursed with an ed plan hold in place.

Action: Meet with an advisor.

UNAPPROVED COURSE SCHEDULE HOLD

An Unapproved Course Schedule Hold (EU Hold) is placed on the account of a student who is using financial aid and is registered for an ineligible course. This hold will limit the disbursement of financial aid.

Action: Meet with an advisor.

FINANCIAL HOLD

A Financial Hold (FH) is placed on the account of a student when they have a current balance due.

Action: Make a payment and contact the Welcome Center to remove the hold.

BAD DEBT HOLD

A Bad Debt Hold (BD Hold) is placed on the account of a student when they have a past balance due.

Action: Contact the Welcome Center

BOOKSTORE CHARGE

A Bookstore Charge Hold (BC Hold) is placed when a student has an unresolved issue with the bookstore such as a failure to return a rented book.

Action: Contact the bookstore and resolve.

LIBRARY OBLIGATION

A Library Obligation Hold (L#) is placed on the account of a student who has an unresolved issue with the library such as an overdue device rental.

Action: Contact Library Services for steps to resolve the issue.
