The OCA team had a banner year in 2020-21. Because of our hard work, our students and colleagues now have more financial resources in the HACC Foundation and more people know all that HACC has to offer.
To learn more about our team’s accomplishments last year, please read our year in review:

HACC employees contacted by the media about official College and/or HACC Foundation matters should take the reporter’s contact information and tell them a member of the Office of College Advancement team will follow up. Employees then should email newsroom@hacc.edu with the information attached and copy the vice president of college advancement at lscarter@hacc.edu.
HACC’s Shared Governance Policy on News Releases, Media Advisory and Media Contacts (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1QuHwYocN2qQ4_igoP5cacBHUFLXNCyb5) designates Dr. Ski, the College president, and Dr. Linnie Carter, the vice president of college advancement at HACC and executive director of the HACC Foundation, as the primary spokespersons for the College.
Select members of the Integrated Marketing Communications Department are also authorized to serve as secondary spokespersons. No one else is authorized to communicate with the media about HACC and HACC Foundation business without written authorization from one of these individuals.
Why? This process ensures that the flow of information from the College is accurate, coordinated and controlled, and it protects the College both in good times and in times of crisis. When a crisis occurs, the media will look for anyone to serve as a source of information.
