Our Training of Trainers is a collaboration between Philippine Business for Education (PBEd) and Habi Education Lab to support the teachers of Understanding Culture, Society and Politics course, a subject in our K to 12 curriculum, through the use of resources found in Sibika.ph, a free and online resource portal for teaching of civic education to Filipino students. This microsite was made to support you in your learning journey as a teacher-trainer for Sibika.ph!
On this microsite, you will find more information about the training program, relevant links and resources, as well as some preparatory work before each online training session.
This Training of Trainers is a blended learning experience spread out over 2 weeks, with a mix of self-paced, asynchronous content and 2-hour online training sessions. The roadmap below illustrates the different milestones for the Training of Trainers, as well as the expected topics and activities at each point of the experience:

Throughout the Training of Trainers experience, we have prepared activities, exercises and reflection prompts to help bridge the gap between theory and practice. We created a Learner Journal for you to use to document all the work and reflections you will be making over the course of this Training of Trainers, which you will have to complete by the end of the training. The Learner Journal is a live document which we will updated with new pages and prompts as we progress through each session. It will also serve as proof of your participation and completion of the Training of Trainers before you receive your Certificate of Completion.
Click on the button below to access the cohort's Google Drive. Find your personal copy of the Learner Journal - we labeled it with your name!
This microsite is divided into 3 components:

Each component has content for you to acquire (readings, videos) and some reflection activities that you need to accomplish as pre-work before our online session. Additional content will also be released on this microsite as part of the closing requirements to the program.
