The Careers team is committed to help all pupils in S5 and S6 find positive destinations once they finish their secondary school career At Watson's. 

Applying to UK universities: The majority of the pupils are opting to go to university at the end of S6. The Careers team organises a week of information for the S5 pupils in June when they return from exam leave aiming to detail the UCAS process to them. We also provide support to a number of S5 pupils if they wish to leave at the end of the session and to our former pupils if they need it after they left school. 

Applying to College: some pupils find that applying to College is the best option for them, and the Career team supports them with this process.

We also support pupils when they opt for other options such as  Performing Art and Conservatoires, Apprenticeships, Taking a Gap Year  or applying outside the UK to US and European Universities.
