This is an optional reading challenge that students may participate in. To complete this challenge, students may use any book that they choose. The Mid-Continent Public Library has many e-book options available if your student finishes the book they checked out from the school library prior to break.
You are currently experiencing history! As you know, primary sources are documents written by people who experienced the actual event.
For this optional challenge, consider creating a primary source to record what is happening, how you are feeling, and anything you want to write about this unique time in history.
The format for this is up to you. You could create a Canva/Spark scrapbook, a daily journal (electronic or handwritten), a Google Sites blog (don't make it public), or anything else you choose. We can't wait to see what you create, but you may also elect to keep your writings private.
If you need some ideas on what to write, reach out to your teacher.
