Hi! My name is Jason, and I’m 14 years old. I’m currently in 9th grade at Riverdale Junior High. I’ve always been interested in technology, and I love learning about how things work. At school, my favorite subjects are computer science and math. I enjoy problem-solving, so I spend a lot of time working on coding projects or helping my friends with math homework. I hope to become a software engineer when I grow up, so I’m always looking for ways to improve my skills.
Outside of school, I have a variety of hobbies. I play the guitar and have been taking lessons for about two years now. Music is something I’m really passionate about, and I love learning new songs to play for my friends and family. I also enjoy reading books, especially science fiction and adventure novels. My favorite author is Isaac Asimov, and I’ve read almost all of his books.
On weekends, I like to hang out with my friends. We often go to the park to play basketball, or sometimes we have movie nights at my place. I’m also very involved in volunteer work. I help tutor younger students in math and science at a community center nearby. It feels great to give back and help others succeed in school. I believe it’s important to balance school, hobbies, and giving back to the community.

Singapore Island
Singapore Island, also known as Pulau Ujong, is the main and largest island of the Republic of Singapore. Located at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, it is separated from Malaysia by the Johor Strait to the north and from Indonesia’s Riau Islands by the Singapore Strait to the south. The island spans approximately 728 square kilometers, making it one of the smallest countries in the world by land area. Despite its size, Singapore is highly urbanized, with extensive land reclamation efforts expanding its territory over the years.
Singapore has a tropical rainforest climate, characterized by high humidity, abundant rainfall, and warm temperatures throughout the year. The island receives an average annual rainfall of about 2,340 mm, with no distinct dry season. The monsoon seasons, particularly from November to January, bring heavy rain. Despite urbanization, Singapore has preserved many green spaces, such as the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, the Central Catchment Nature Reserve, and the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, which support a diverse range of flora and fauna.
Historically, Singapore was a trading hub for regional merchants due to its strategic position. The island was known to traders as early as the 3rd century and was later part of the Srivijaya and Majapahit empires. It became a key trading post of the British Empire in 1819 under Sir Stamford Raffles, marking the beginning of modern Singapore. After a brief occupation by the Japanese during World War II, Singapore became self-governing in 1959, separated from Malaysia in 1965, and achieved full sovereignty.
Singapore is a major tourist destination, offering world-class attractions such as:
Marina Bay Sands – An iconic integrated resort with a rooftop infinity pool and luxury shopping.
Gardens by the Bay – A futuristic park with the famous Supertree Grove and Cloud Forest Dome.
Sentosa Island – A resort island featuring Universal Studios Singapore, beaches, and adventure parks.
Merlion Park – Home to the famous Merlion statue, a symbol of Singapore’s heritage.
Singapore Zoo and Night Safari – Recognized for their conservation efforts and immersive experiences.
Despite its small size, Singapore Island has emerged as a global city with a strong economy, modern infrastructure, and a rich cultural heritage. Its strategic location, efficient governance, and commitment to sustainability have made it a model for urban development worldwide.

On Friday morning we went to Yogya Kraton. We spent about two hours there. We were lucky because we were led by a smart and friendly guide. Then we continued our journey to Borobudur. We arrived there at four p.m. At 5 p.m. we heard the announcement that Borobudur gate would be closed.

Jellyfish are not really fish. They are invertebrate animals. This means that unlike fish or people, they have no backbones. In fact, they have no bones at all.
Jellyfish have stomachs and mouths, but no heads. They have nervous systems for sensing the world around them, but no brains. They are made almost entirely of water, which is why you can look through them.
Some jellyfish can glow in darkness by making their own light. The light is made by a chemical reaction inside the jellyfish. Scientists believe jellyfish glow for several reasons. For example, they may glow to scare away predators or to attract animals they like to eat.
Most jellyfish live in salt water, apart from a few types that live in fresh water. Jellyfish are found in oceans and seas all over the world. They live in warm, tropical seas and in icy waters near the North and South poles.
