Jed Edwards: This project, completed for the Every Campus a Refuge program of Guilford, is focused on the social and cultural integration of refugees into the United States. The aim is to provide material of both educational and cultural significance that could be used by any and all ECAR volunteers when teaching the refugee clients about the language, customs, and help them acquire general understanding about life in the United States. It would be a sustainable supply of items such as maps, calendars, menus, DMV pamphlets, magazines, etc. that future ECAR volunteers could add to as they see necessary.

Kathleen Herbst: I will be presenting on the relationship between journalism and nonprofits, specifically in regards to Every Campus a Refuge. I will be showing an audio story I produced this semester.
