Jo Ann Romano

Jo Ann Romano is the Math Specialist at Lynnwood Elementary School. She has worked as a classroom teacher in the Guilderland School District for 30+ years where she taught 2nd-5th grade. Teaching math has always been her favorite part of the day so she was excited to transition into this role.

Prior to becoming the Math Specialist, Mrs. Romano served as the Science Teacher Leader at Lynnwood. She notes that teaching math through our Investigations program is similar to teaching science as they both allow students to engage in hands-on, inquiry based learning which helps them to gain a more comprehensive understanding of concepts.

As the Math Specialist, Mrs. Romano is looking forward to supporting students and teachers across all grade levels at Lynnwood.
