I think I know many people have been getting glasses from younger and younger ages in the past few years. I've observed that the number of people wearing glasses has also increased. This increase may be caused by screens and blue light becoming a prominent part of our lives. I've heard vision problems get worse as you age, along with other things. Certain foods/diets may help with helping preserve eyesight. I think I know there are other eye-related issues other than nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism (those fixed with prescription glasses). For these other problems, surgeons are most likely in need. I've heard that some people can not get contacts. I think that there is something called legally blind. Stress may be another factor leading to vision loss. I've heard that lack of sleep can lead to blurry vision. I've also heard that eye exercises can help regain vision. Wearing contact lenses for long periods of time may have a negative effect on your eyes.

I know there are companies specializing in eye exercise, like Rebuild Your Vision, which I have a binder of at home, as my mom was a fanatic of them when I was little (Rebuild Your Vision). Reputable colleges have made articles on debunking eye exercises and calling them a myth. On the contrary, I also know there is some truth behind this vision correction for it to be considered and looked into. Therefore, I know there is controversy surrounding this topic (Harvard Health). I know that blue light is poor for your eyes. Fish is a food to eat to strengthen them. I know that most common vision problems like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism are due to refractive errors in the eye; LASIK surgery seeks to fix that by changing the shape of your cornea (TED-ed). I know I know that I will grow this year.
