Summer CNA graduates of 2022
This summer 25 students from GUHSD completed the Health Occupation Centers Certified Nursing Assistant Program. Determined perseverance describes these exceptional students. They are now positioning themselves for jobs in healthcare.

The goal of the Health Pathway series of courses is to prepare students for healthcare careers by providing medically-based labs, curriculum, field trips, guest speakers, health career research, and medical training. Work-based learning experiences include internships, community service, and hands-on training. For more information about the Health Pathway Program please visit the About pages.

Each year, the HESI interns spend the summer as interns at Sharp Grossmont Hospital.
The staff at Sharp Grossmont Hospital generously donates their time each year to help the next generation of medical professionals explore the many facets of healthcare. They bring the Sharp Experience to life for these students and make them feel welcome as they are introduced to the hospital.
