Deep Breathing

Why deep breathing works...

When your body/mind is flooded with stress it can enter into a state of flight-fight-or-freeze. This response triggers symptoms throughout the body, including rapid and shallow breathing.

Training your body to take deliberate slow and deep breaths can reverse these symptoms, triggering a relaxation response.
