Learning Expectations

To understand how to use a Google Presentation.

To embed a Google Presentation into your Timeline.

Starter Challenge

Log on to your Google Account as you did in the previous lesson.
Open the Timeline spreadsheet that you started last week.
Go to timeline.knightlab.com
Copy the link of your spreadsheet and paste it into step 3 of the Timeline website.
Press tab
Copy the link in Step 4 of and Hand this in on Google Classroom under the assignment 'Timeline URL'.

The Shakespeare Challenge

Over the last few weeks you have been learning about Shakespeare. So what have you learned?

Your challenge is to create a Slides presentation about your learning of William Shakespeare. You are then going to embed your presentation into your timeline.

Your presentation must include the following:

An eye catching title slide
At least four other slides with a fact about Shakespeare
No more than 12 words per slide.
Images on your slide
A citation slide showing where you got the images

Embed your Presentation into your Timeline

On your presentation go to the File menu
Click Publish to the Web
Click Embed
Click Publish
Copy the embed code that on the screen by using Ctrl - C
Go back to you Timeline Spreadsheet
Add an entry for the period that you studied Shakespeare
Add a Headline and Text
In the Media cell, paste the code that you copied from step 5.
Go to your timeline and refresh the page
