Biography: Height underwent a lot of racial challenges early in life. Even after being denied admittance into the school she applied for, Height then went to NYU where she would attain her Bachelors and Masters Degree. After years of social work she joined the YWCA where she met many phenomenal women leaders. This encouraged her to later become a leader of the NCNW (National Council of Negro Women).
