Valentine's Art
Turned out to be MUCH harder than it looks to do!
Valentine's Day was celebrated by creating compliment jars. Students wrote genuine compliments for their fellow classmates and delivered them to our decorated jars. We had Valentine's centres, skated, had a dance party and exchanged Valentine's cards to celebrate the day. In the video, we are happily delivering our compliments.

In Science, we have been sorting objects made from different materials is a variety of ways. We participated in centres where we tested the properties of different materials - length, weight, absorbancy, transperancy, maleability, and reflection.
Winter Walk Fun!
We have been learning a lot about the Olympics - the history, the rings, the mascots, the sports. If you get a chance, pop into the foyer to see our bright and colour Olympic art that is on display. Our class did the sports silhouettes and 2B did the Olympic rings. Both 2A and 2B will be presenting about the Olympics at the whole-school assembly on Friday, February 27th at 11:30. Parents welcome!
