poetry month

April is poetry month!  This week we listenened to the story I Wish You More.  We then brainstormed what we would wish for and made these "I Wish" poems below!

This week we continued to review magic e words, but also learned that there are a few exceptions to the magic e rule.  Usually, magic e makes vowels say their own name.  However, in words like some, done, come, give or have, the vowels use their short sound instead!
