Students will investigate the various stages of growth of a plant from germination to reproduction, as well as some of the environmental challenges it may face during its life. They will then present their story to others to recognize similarities and discern differences between the growth and reproduction of their plant and those of their peers.
Students will understand why managing the living resources of a forest is important. They will explain that there are many different forest uses, and that all the living resources in a forest must be looked after.
