A curriculum map is a high level plan that supports teachers in providing quality instruction and assessment of learning outcomes. It includes the scope of learning, as well as the time and order you will engage with each outcome.
Many teachers use curriculum maps as their long range plans. Good curriculum maps are unique to each teacher and are a living document. They include links to lessons and assessments, and teachers make adjustments to the order or timing of outcomes as needed.
Each grade or subject below links to a Google Folder that has a variety of different curriculum maps and sample plans. When you find one that you like, please make a copy (select “make a copy” from the file menu) so you can adapt and change it to suit your style and your classroom needs.
